One of the great benefits of working with RedAwning is that you can streamline and automate almost all of your check in processes.  Our new "ConnectedHome" Smart Thermostat integration allows you to provide a comfy and cozy home right at check in for your guests while also saving you time and money by automating the heating and cooling of your property. 

WHAT KINDS OF SMART THERMOSTATS CAN I USE?

Our system integrates with almost all of the most popular thermostat brands including Google Nest, Ecobee and more.  Using the RedAwning CommHub you can preset the times and temperatures for your home (i.e. heat to 68 degrees 1 hour before check in; drop to 61 degrees 2 hours after check out).  While guests will have access to change these settings once they are on site, our integrated system ensures that no guest arrives to a stifling hot or freezing cold home. 

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A SMART THERMOSTAT?

We highly recommend implementing a smart thermostat in your property.  Not only do they offer energy savings but you can also save money by only heating or cooling your home to a comfortable level when guests are in house.  Every dollar counts and our research has shown that these devices more than pay for themselves - often within the first year of use.   

WHAT IS THE SET UP LIKE?

Your onboarding specialist will help you set up your thermostat specifics (for instance if you want different temperature settings for different seasons).  Once set up all of the criteria are available within the RedAwning Portal so you can make changes at any time.  COMING SOON:  additional options for pool and hot tub heat.
