One of the great benefits of working with RedAwning is that you can streamline and automate almost all of your check in processes. Our new "ConnectedHome" Digital locks integration allows you to provide a secure and automated check in procedure for all guests utilizing almost any brand of digital lock.
WHAT KINDS OF LOCKS CAN I USE?
Our system integrates with almost all of the most popular lock brands including Schlage, Yale, KwikSet and more. Using the RedAwning CommHub you can preset the times when door codes are activated (1 hour before check in and 2 hours after check out) and even permissions on those door codes such as a specific code for a cleaner. Our system will automatically change guests codes and can also notify you when these codes are used. WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A DIGITAL LOCK?
We highly recommend offering this service to your guests as digital locks are one of the fastest and most cost effective ways to ensure a great guest experience at check in. Plus you don't need to have staff available or maintain a lock box which can often be unsecured or minimally secured after hours. You can find our list of preferred locks in all price points HERE
WHAT IS THE SET UP LIKE?
Your onboarding specialist will help you set up your lock specifics (for instance if you want a random code for every guest or to use the last four digits of the guests phone number). Once set up all of the criteria are available within the RedAwning Portal so you can make changes at any time. The codes are automatically carried over to your check in instructions which are also set up in the RedAwning Portal.
WHAT ABOUT LOCK OUT SUPPORT?
Since your codes and criteria are stored within the RedAwning Portal our team can also assist guests who are locked out or having issues with the door code. One less thing for you to receive a call about in the middle of the night.
